Hempfield 8, Central Dauphin 3

Central Dauphin was the opposition for Senior Night.  The Rams jumped on top with 2 goals by Dean Zerby at 10:24 and 9:56.  Alec Bagrowski cut the lead in half with 6 seconds left in the opening period.  Ted Granbois's slap shot from the left point tied the score at 2-2 only 9 seconds into period 2.  CD took the lead again just over 2 minutes later on Austin Patton's power play goal, but Kyle Long tied it for the Black Knights at the 4 minute mark. Bagrowski's 2nd goal gave Hempfield their first lead at 3:36 and Kyle Long gave his team a 2-goal lead 21 seconds later, which held up until the end of the period.  Long scored again on the man advantage 7 seconds into the final period to make it 5-3 Hempfield.  Long's 4th of the game made it 6-3 at 14:09, and the captain's 5th goal with 8:18 left made the final score 8-3 in favor of the home team.  Devyn Tankesley added 3 assists and Wes Bagrowski made 35 saves to aid the Hempfield effort.
